Here's just a few tips on what to wear on your photo shoot :-)
Solid color clothing - This is the best and perfect way for your face(s) to stand out and be on focus during your shoot.
Muted, subdued tones - Remember, you are the subject not your clothes.
Similar tones for your top and bottom (both dark or both light) - *TIP* White top, dark pants will make your top look bigger; White pants, dark top will make your back side look bigger :-)
For groups shots, choose 1-3 colors with similar tones that go perfectly together and have everyone work within that color palette.
Choose a top with sleeves at least to the elbow - Your arms take up more skin area than your face and will draw attention and may your arms look large.
Long pants for men/ladies or a skirt below the knee for the ladies - This will have your legs take the attention away from you faces and you will be able to sit and bend without showing too much leg.
Dark socks and footwear (expect if you are having a photo shoot at the beach) White socks stick out!!
Keep jewelry simple. Too much will draw too much attention from you face.
Hair. Normal, no fancy up dos with jeans and no pony tails with dresses ;-)
